Meet Baby Cooper #2 --- while we DID NOT want to find out the gender we were having, the Lord had another plan :) We went for the ultrasound and they wanted to practice with their new 3D-4D equipment on us for free. How could we turn down that offer? We told the doctor and the technician we DID NOT want to know the gender.... well, what do you know, while he's pointing out the umbilical cord - I guess he doesn't realize that the baby's got its legs spread wide open. We're having a boy! The doctor felt very bad, and while he never confirmed one way or the other what it actually was (and we never asked) -- Jonathan and I were both certain when we got out to the car that we knew what we saw... there's no mistaking those 3D's....

We were also able to visit Jonathan's family over the wknd - we had a good time just relaxing as usual. That is very easy to do at the Cooper's.

More pics from vacation... see below entry for more details. We forgot Henry's "low" for the trip -- that would be coming out of the pool. You can see the drama we had to go through at the end of each pool outing.... I think we could have used some bungee cords to tie him down ;)

Vacation in Fort Lauderdale was great! We had a wonderful time - If Henry could talk more, he'd tell you his highlights were taking baths in the huge tub and going to the beach. We were also able to catch up with one of my college roommates, Marcy. Her and her husband Paul live in Fort Lauderdale - we were able to meet her two girls too.

Uncle Josh came to visit us at the end of last week. We had a great time with him... and made a great dinner on the grill!
We also had a short visit from Levi and Cam -- Henry loves seeing them. And then we've also been having some fun with stickers... Hen is pretty into them -- he puts them all over his body and shows us and when one falls off, he very carefully puts it back on. Cute. We are on vacation next week -- woohoo!

Jonathan got a new guitar for his 30th birthday... well, it's not exactly new, but it works. And this is just the tester to see if he's really interested in pursuing this hobby. Henry has been more than willing to "help" Jonathan learn his chords - we've had to lay some ground rules. Since the guitar has been added to the family, Jonathan serenades us with the 'G' chord (which is what he's been practicing) at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For those of you who know Phoebe from 'Friends', that will give you a good idea of what types of songs he's making up. The last title was "Henry has a poopy diaper" -- it was beautiful.

In the meantime, Hen and I water flowers, or I should say I water flowers, and Henry waters the concrete. He's gotten really good at this.

Oh, and the last picture.... we finally caught 'mad eyes' on the camera. This is a classic -- he can do it on command now which is cute. But you should see it when he's really mad.... :)
