Lunar eclipse

We did manage to make it outside for the lunar eclipse last night. And Jonathan convinced our neighbors to join us... :) It was FREEZING! Jonathan was out there forever... I thought he was crazy since you could see the same thing from the window - but he insisted on being one with nature. When he jumped in bed with cold toes, I told him to stay on his own side of the bed!!!! :)

Winter blues

Well, we've been staying busy around here. This cold weather is sure putting a damper on our outdoor activities. It's been a challenge to keep Henry busy inside. Wyatt doesn't seem to mind. He just sleeps, poops, and eats through it all! Grandma and Grandpa Cooper came on Saturday to visit the kiddos. They braved the cold weather and took Henry out. Bless their hearts!

Henry has poope 3 consecutive times in the toilet now. It's not hard to tell why... he gets a sticker on his chart, a cookie, and an episode of Curious George everytime he goes. But, hey, it's working. So no complaints and neither one of us miss the poopy diapers of a 2 year old!

The boys...

Everyone was in good moods this morning... so I was able to snap a few photos of the boys together. Henry is loving holding the baby right now. He does a good job. We just have to be careful b/c when he's "all done" -- he's serious. He just gets up and walks away... it's kind of funny, but of course, a little dangerous at the same time! :)

Just in the past few days, we've noticed Wyatt being much more aware of his surroundings. He really pays attention to the mobile. It's amazing how fast they change in the first year. But I'm not complaining... I'm already ready to get through the multiple feedings per night deal!!! :)

Henry got some valentine cookies from Levi and Cam - he loved them! He only ate the sides that were covered in chocolate. He has been helping do dishes - and the other day we came around the corner, and he had Jonathan's water bottle and shoes on AND his car keys. When we asked him what he was doing, he said he was going to work. Wyatt is doing well... we've quickly noticed we haven't taken near as many pictures of him as a baby as we did with Henry... oops... we have to get the camera out! :)

David and Sona visit

We had a wonderful visit with David and Sona. Henry is showing you his new cash cow from Holland. We are pretty sure he shoved enough change in there to cover his college fund! MOOoooMoney!

Our little (and big!) burritos...

We are big believers in swaddling around here. It worked magic for Henry when he was a baby, and it has equally worked with Wyatt. However, Henry has been more and more curious when we swaddle Wyatt. So we decided to try and swaddle Henry again ... :) He thought it was great -- and Jonathan was able to do it so tight, that Henry couldn't get out of it. Impressive!

Jonathan's Ankle Injury

Well, the tables have turned. I am now taking care of Jonathan :) He sprained his ankle while out running the other day. Thanks to Beth Berry's quick action and skills and Devon's drug distribution, Jonathan was able to walk lightly after a day and a half! :) It's pretty yucky looking - but we're recovering and Jonathan is doing a good job of multi-tasking... as you can see.

Two of my sisters... Meagan and Tanya. Tabby, we missed you! They came to visit and see the baby.

Two of my sisters came to visit. My sister Tanya took some pics for us. Can you tell she is a professional? She did a great job and we had fun doing it! It's so nice when someone comes to your house and it makes it much more comfortable and lowkey.

We are slowly adjusting to life with 2 kids. I think Jonathan has spent a record amount of time in Henry's room at night - but we are hoping to slips back into a good sleeping pattern within a week or so. Wyatt is doing well - we are enjoying our time home as a family and finding that two kids is definitely different than one! :) But we are loving it and, thankfully, Henry is getting much more interested (in a good way!) with Wyatt. Thanks for all of your supportive emails! It's so good to hear from friends and family.
